Medical patients are pets that come to our office for holistic care relating to an injury, illness or chronic disease. These patients retain the services of another veterinarian for primary care and wellness services, and may even see other specialty doctors such as internists, cardiologist and neurologists!

Because we “share” these patients, we make every effort to keep your pet’s attending doctors in the loop. After your first visit to our office, a copy of the doctor’s findings and treatment plan will be faxed or emailed to their offices.

You should allot approximately an hour for the new patient check in, evaluation, treatment and check out. This ensures the doctor has enough time to perform a physical examination and discuss his recommendations with you. He will answer any questions you might have about your pet’s condition and our therapies.

But your first visit is more than just a consultation – after deciding on the therapy plan you’d like to pursue, the doctor will administer the first treatment at that visit!

The cost for this appointment is $220 and that figure includes any therapies performed at that visit. Any medications and/or supplements are in addition to this figure.

New medical patient appointments are typically scheduled three to five weeks out. We do understand that some pets have urgent need and can add clients to a cancellation list, to inform them of changes in the schedule that would allow us to see their pet sooner. If your pet’s condition is critical, we recommend that you present to your primary care veterinarian for interim treatment.

Please note we cannot make any recommendations for pets that have not been seen by the doctor.
